Kat Dubrow is an eighteen-year-old, award-winning filmmaker based in Los Angeles, California. With a passion for filmmaking, she has been creating captivating films since her freshman year that have been featured in prestigious high school and industry festivals, such as NFFTY, All American High School Film Festival, Indie shorts, and more.
"Chemtrails" depicts the story of a young boxer who, raised under the pressure of his father’s expectations, must decide whether to follow the path expected of him or forge his own identity beyond the ring.
"The Chase" depicts the heartbreaking journey of Jen, a young adult experiencing her first ever queer relationship. We follow Jen's mental state through the highs and lows of her relationship, all told through three parts: "the Hunt, the Catch, and the Kill."
Chicken Parm follows a young girl as she comes to term with her and her dad's relationship through what she knows best: cooking. Chicken Parm won us the four day film competition at the All American High School Film Festival Spring Invitational.
